We developed the Safe collar for dogs that often move freely in the woods, bushes, rubble, etc. The collar has a sewn-in rubber that allows the dog to pull its head out of the collar if it catches on an obstacle, branch, cage, etc. this can happen when the dog is locked in a box, running for free in nature or playing with other dogs (puppies!). If the dog is on a leash, the elastic part is "out of service" and the collar is firm and cannot be pulled over the head.
