Nansen Stick harness 8.5

Nansen Stick is designed primarily for disciplines in which the towed object is low - typically sledges. In our conditions, however, the harness is very suitable for strength training and activities such as pulling chains, tires, etc. It is also suitable for lighter weightpulling activities. However, it is not intended for professional weightpulling. We were honored that some of the best "long-distance" mushers in the world were largely involved in the development of this harness.

The basic idea of this harness is a more efficient use of traction and more natural movement of the dog, especially during slower and long-lasting activities.

The harness is also suitable for dogs who have problems with the spine or pelvis and need a harness that minimizes pressure on the spine. The pressure on the spine is practically zero in this harness. The elastic straps on the dog's back only stabilize the harness and keep it in place.
The back of the Nansen Stick can slide freely around the thighs and pelvis, copying the movement of the load over the terrain, whether the load is a chain, tire or sled.

Nansen Stick Harness is suitable for larger dogs and for dogs that tend to pull "at an angle". The harness minimizes the negative effects on the musculoskeletal system during this type of dog pull (frequent movement imbalances in dogs who pull "at an angle" are pointed out by mushers and dog physiotherapists).
