The Nansen harness is a solid, padded harness designed for sled sports (4 and more dogs). Alternatively, it can be used for running or cycling with a dog. This harness of exceptional quality is used by the world's best mushers Birgitte Næss, Robert Sørlie (winner of Iditarod) and others.
The wide chest part fits the dog well and ensures optimal transmission of forces during the pull. Quality reflective elements are invaluable during night training. Thanks to its unique construction, the rear part of the harness prevents the harness from slipping into the armpit, even in cases where the dog pulls at an angle (relative to the tow line).
For dogs with a wide neck (Nordic breeds), sizes with the same back length but a larger neck opening are available. They are marked: 4 and a half, 5 and a half, 6 and a half, 7 and a half and 8 and a half and you can easily identify them by the red strap for attaching the tow line.
